Ghana's Ministry of Health Reduces Cost of Health Training Application Forms

The Ministry of Health has officially announced a reduction in the cost of application forms for admission into Health Training Institutions across Ghana. This move comes as part of the Ministry’s effort to make health education more accessible and affordable for aspiring healthcare professionals.

According to the Ministry, the sale of application forms for the 2025/2026 academic year will begin on Tuesday, 22nd April 2025, and end on Thursday, 19th June 2025. Further information and details about the application process will be released soon.

The general public and all potential applicants are to note that the cost of the application forms, which was previously Two Hundred Ghana Cedis (GHS 200.00), has been reduced to One Hundred and Fifty Ghana Cedis (GHS 150.00).

This adjustment is aimed at improving access and ensuring that applicants from all backgrounds can afford to pursue careers in health training institutions.

It is also important to note that only GCB Bank PLC and the Agriculture Development Bank are authorized to sell these application forms. Applicants are advised to make purchases only from these banks to avoid complications.

This initiative was announced and signed by Kwabena Mintah Akandoh (MP), the Minister for Health.
