In a recent press release dated April 17, 2025,
the Ghana Police Service shared its comprehensive plans for maintaining peace and security during this year’s Easter celebrations. The directive, issued through the Public Affairs Directorate, details strategic actions taken to safeguard the public throughout the festivities.
To begin with, the Police Service emphasized that thorough security measures have been implemented across the country. These actions aim to ensure that citizens can enjoy the 2025 Easter celebration in a safe and peaceful environment.
As part of the effort, officers have been strategically deployed along roadways and within local communities in all regions. This widespread presence is intended to provide security coverage for the various Easter-related activities taking place nationwide.
In particular, the statement highlighted special arrangements made for the Kwahu areas, which will be hosting the Paragliding Festival and other scheduled events. These arrangements are tailored to meet the unique demands of the large gatherings expected in the region.
The Police Service also called on the public to play their part by staying alert and security conscious. Citizens are encouraged to report any suspicious behavior or activities to the appropriate authorities.
Concluding the release, the Police Administration extended warm Easter wishes to everyone across the country.
