The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially released the academic calendar for all second cycle institutions for the 2025/2026 academic year.
According to the announcement, the reporting date for first-year students in both single track and transitional schools has been scheduled for 18th October 2025.
The statement further explained that holidays and term dates have been carefully outlined to ensure smooth academic activities. Additionally, special arrangements have been made to cater for the needs of transitional students.
Regional Directors of Education have been urged to disseminate the details of the academic calendar to all school heads within their jurisdiction. This will help ensure that school authorities are well-prepared to guide students in line with the calendar.
GES emphasized that the calendar was designed to maintain consistency and provide effective teaching and learning across the country. The Service also requested the cooperation of all stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation.
