The Institute for Teacher Professional Development and Lifelong Learning (ITPDLL) at Akenten Appiah-Menka University has issued an important reminder to students through a memo dated April 19, 2025. Addressed to the Principal of Mampong Technical College of Education and copied to relevant university authorities, the directive highlights a critical requirement for examination eligibility.
Referring to a prior communication issued on March 21, 2025, the notice emphasizes that all students must fulfill a minimum payment of 70% of their tuition fees. This financial prerequisite is essential for students, particularly those in Levels 200 and 300, to qualify for participation in the End of First Semester Examinations for the 2024/2025 academic year.
The Acting Director of ITPDLL, Prof. Dr. Benedict Osei-Owusu, who authored the memorandum, urged that students who are yet to comply be reminded of this directive without delay. The communication has also been circulated to principals of several colleges of education, including Ada, Akatsi, Bagabaga, NJA, Komenda, Wiawso, and St. John Bosco.
This timely notice aims to ensure full compliance and avoid disruptions in the academic calendar due to fee payment defaults.
